John Whittles Wildlife
I am an amateur photographer based in Hertfordshire.

I became interested in photography in my early teens and since retiring, I have concentrated mainly on wildlife photography.

Britain has a fascinating variety of birds mammals, insects, amphibians and reptiles, and one could spend a lifetime studying and photographing without ever leaving its shores.

In the last few years I have, however, been fortunate to visit Indian Tiger reserves, the Arctic, Madagascar and the Galapagos Islands.

The photographs on this page change every few seconds, but you can see more examples of my work, organised under headings, by clicking on the "Gallery" button in the left margin of this page.
